Turkish – also called Istanbul Turkish – is one of the Turkic languages and is the native language of over 65 million people worldwide. Turkish is an agglutinative language, where grammatical elements are added in a particular sequence to a base word.

Intensive courses take place during the lecture-free period in spring and fall.
You will find the program in TUMonline towards the end of every lecture period.
As soon as the registration period has been set, the information will be published on our homepage.

Registration

Students register in TUMonline.
You can follow our instructions for registration and, if necessary, determine your course level by taking our placement test (only for certain languages).
TUM employees can register by sending an e-mail to the respective lecturer.
