Registration
- Students register in TUMonline.
- You can follow our instructions for registration and, if necessary, determine your course level by taking our placement test (only for certain languages).
- TUM employees can register by sending an e-mail to the respective lecturer.

Language Tests & Certificates
You can take a test to receive a language certificate to include in various applications (scholarships, internships, exchange semesters, etc.). Keep in mind that you must sit the test at least four weeks before your deadline.

TUMtandem brings TUM students together for structured intercultural conversation.

Cooperation with the Mexican partner university UNAM
Through the strategic partnership between the Spanish Department of the TUM Language Center and the ENALLT Language Center of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM Mexico), the TUMtandem Spanish-German online program has been implemented since WiSe 2022.
This collaboration enables students from both universities to participate in bilingual hybrid and/or online courses (Spanish-German).
Exchange Semesters
Students with knowledge of Spanish can study for a semester at a university in Latin America via TUMexchange, or at a university in Spain via Erasmus. In addition, students can earn a dual degree from TUM and various Spanish universities.
Online Course AVE Global
AVE Global with guidance from a language instructor
Guidance from language instructor and attending 3 classes during the semester. The TUM purchases a limited number of licenses. Therefore, please book the course only if you are certain that you can invest the required time. Registration for AVE Global is through TUM online.
AVE Global Self-Study Course (NEW)
Online self-study at discounted rates for TUM students and staff.

Online Program vhb
The Virtual University of Bavaria (vhb) offers online language courses for Spanish.
The courses can be a useful supplement to the Spanish courses at TUM.
Please note that the TUM Language Center currently cannot guarantee that ECTS will be awarded for these courses
All courses at vhb are free of charge for TUM students and registration is done with the TUM-ID.
