Learn Danish at the TUM Language Center
Velkommen til dansk!
Danish belongs to the family of Germanic languages and is not only spoken by the approximately five million inhabitants of Denmark. In Greenland and on the Faroe Islands, it is taught as a second language in schools. Those who speak Danish can also communicate with our neighbors from Norway and Sweden.
Courses during the semester
We offer Danish courses from level A1 to A2 following the CEFR.
- Students register in TUMonline.
- You can follow our instructions for registration and, if necessary, determine your course level by taking our placement test (only for certain languages).
- TUM employees can register by sending an e-mail to the respective lecturer.
- Detailed information about registration.
Language Tests & Certificates
You can receive a language certificate for applications (exchange semester, internship, scholarship) after taking a language test. Please contact Christina Thunstedt at firstname.lastname@example.org.
