Film Series DIVERSITY
Respect the differences - discover the similarities
In cooperation with HFF Munich
The University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) and the TUM Language Center have come to share more than just the same neighborhood: HFF students can attend courses offered by the TUM Language Center.
Another connection is the joint DIVERSITY Film Series, which enables HFF and TUM students to discuss current issues in a socio-cultural context through international films and to talk to people from the respective countries and cultures. The international films – also by graduates of the HFF – that are offered in the framework of this project are usually shown in the original language with German or English subtitles and are specially selected by lecturers from the respective language areas of the TUM Language Center. Each film is followed by a lively discussion.
The program is always published towards the beginning of the semester at Events.
Global Minds
Webinars on applying and working abroad
In cooperation with TUM Global & Alumni Office
How can you land a position at a foreign university or company and what can you expect of your time there?
The 'Global Minds' seminars offer a window into the experience of living, studying and working in cultures you might think you know from afar, but which are sure to have surprises in store on the ground. We will also discuss expectations for resumes and CVs, give tips on how to write a compelling cover letter, and direct you toward TUM resources to help you on your way.
The program is always published towards the beginning of the semester at Events.
