We look forward to streaming and discussing a selected episode full of linguistic diversity together with Sunnyi Melles. Her daughter Leonille Wittgenstein, also a member of ZWEIFLERS, will also be there.
The renowned film and theater actress Sunnyi Melles, who lives in Munich, has had an eventful life: she was born in Luxembourg to Hungarian parents. Her father, Carl Melles, was a conductor, her mother, Judith Rohonczy, an actress and her grandmother, Lóth Ila, a silent film actress. After her parents emigrated from Budapest, Sunnyi Melles grew up in Switzerland. The family was stateless for 15 years. At the age of 10, she appeared on the stage of the Basel Theater together with her mother. She played her first film role at the age of 14: Rosa, alongside Max von Sydow in the film "Der Steppenwolf". She completed her acting training at the Otto Falkenberg School in Munich. She has appeared in various film productions worldwide for decades.
