As part of the German for Engineers program, our German instructors Claudia Hanke and Doro Hartkopf organized the event Bavarian for Engineers.
As guest experts, Florian Meindl, who volunteers with the VDI (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V.), and Christoph Hartkopf guided participants through the world of the Bavarian dialect. A total of 28 students and two VDI guests took part in the event.
A great example of how language, regional culture, and engineering education can come together in an engaging way.
