During the non-lecture period the TUM Language Center offers students, Ph.D. candidates and employees of the TUM German intensive courses (fees apply) at the main city campus. These courses are offered at levels A1 to B2 and cover 60 teaching units. This is equivalent to a semester course of four teaching units per week.

Courses in fall 01.10. - 12.10.2012: These courses last two weeks. They run mornings and afternoons during the first week and only mornings during the second week.

Courses in spring 25.02.- 27.03.2013: These courses last five weeks. They take place three times a week between 17:00 and 20:15.

For registration you need the result of a current placement test. Grading is conducted online on the TUM internal learning platform www.moodle.tum.de. Applicants without access to the learning platform can find instructions on the registration form on how to access the free online test. Please indicate your result on the registration form.

Please fill out the registration form and send it to DAFintensiv@zv.tum.de. Registration for the courses in fall starts July 1, for the courses in spring December 1. Deadline is 14 days before the course begins. Please register early as space is limited.

The registration process is not completed until you have paid the course fee of 200 Euros per course. You can either pay the amount in cash while the office is open or by bank transfer (for details see course program).
